SECOND-SHIFT MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY ASSOCIATE — Job Description

Position Summary

TIGON Golf Carts is hiring dependable and mechanically inclined Production Assemblers to prepare golf carts for customers across the country. You will assemble incoming vehicles, install accessories, organize inventory, maintain electric golf carts, and ensure every finished vehicle meets TIGON quality standards.

Pay: $16 to $17 per hour
Primary Second-Shift Hours: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Tools Required: Employees must provide the appropriate basic hand tools for this position.

Available Shifts

  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
  • 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities for SECOND-SHIFT MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY ASSOCIATE

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble components on incoming golf carts
  • Inspect carts for damage, missing parts, or assembly issues
  • Install golf cart accessories, including:
    • Windshields
    • Roofs
    • Seats
    • Rear seat kits
    • Brush guards
    • Light kits
    • Mirrors
    • Wheels and tires
    • Lift kits
    • Storage accessories
  • Charge and maintain electric golf carts
  • Prepare completed carts for customer pickup or delivery
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments
  • Organize parts, accessories, tools, and warehouse inventory
  • Assist with loading and unloading trailers
  • Help move golf carts safely throughout the facility
  • Remove trash and packaging materials
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Assist mechanics and other team members when needed
  • Follow workplace safety procedures
  • Complete assigned work accurately and on schedule
  • Ensure every golf cart meets TIGON quality and appearance standards

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude is preferred
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools
  • Basic computer and mobile phone skills
  • Automotive, powersports, motorcycle, bicycle, golf cart, equipment assembly, or warehouse experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and remain active throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Must provide and maintain the basic tools required for the position
